Hyphen Beauty School (formerly Florida Academy of Beauty) turns your dreams of a career in beauty into reality. From no experience to licensed professional, Hyphen will equip you with the tools necessary to succeed in the field.
Our classes run two/three days per week so most of our students continue working their current jobs while attending school.

Esthetics
Hyphen offers three classes in Esthetics: On Monday/Tuesday from 9am to 7pm, on Wednesday/Thursday from 9am to 7pm or on Friday from 9am to 5pm
- Duration: 2 months
- Cost: $4,240 which includes a $400 Dermalogica kit and all state board registration and license fees
- All instruction and certification will be done at Hyphen. You do not need to sit for an external state board exam.
Massage Therapy
Hyphen offers two classes in Massage Therapy: On Monday/Tuesday from 9am to 9pm or on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am to 5pm
- Duration: 4 months
- Cost: $7,790 which includes a $930 massage table, kit and all state board license and registration fees
- At the end of the course, you will be invited to take the MBLEx test for licensure.
Nail Technology
Hyphen offers three classes in Nail Technology: On Monday/Tuesday from 9am to 9pm, on Wednesday/Thursday from 9am to 9pm or on Friday from 9am to 5pm
- Duration: 2 months
- Cost: $3,495 which includes a $240 Nail kit and all state board registration and license fees
- All instruction and certification will be done at Hyphen. You do not need to sit for an external state board exam.
Full Specialist
The Full Specialist is a combination of the Esthetics and Nail Technology programs. Major employers prefer Full Specialists as they are more versatile in meeting the daily demands of a spa
- Duration: 4 months
- Cost: $6,595 which includes a $400 Dermalogica kit and a $240 nail kit and all state board registration and license fees
- All instruction and certification will be done at Hyphen. You do not need to sit for an external state board exam.
